At Beaulieu International Group, there is a continuous drive toward a sustainable and efficient future. That’s why, in collaboration with roofing specialist Roteam, they opted for an innovative upgrade of their production facility in Wielsbeke.

The project was part of a larger initiative: the renewal of the roof sealing in preparation for the installation of a new solar panel system. To optimize energy consumption and make a larger roof surface available for a PV installation, Econation installed 43 LightCatchers at the Beaulieu production facility in Wielsbeke, replacing the outdated skylights.

As a result, B.I.G. decided to eliminate the existing skylights and replace them with Econation’s advanced LightCatchers. These intelligent daylight systems capture the maximum amount of natural light and optimally distribute it throughout their production and workspaces—without additional energy consumption.

With this investment, B.I.G. not only strengthens its sustainability strategy but also reinforces its commitment to Flanders. As a local manufacturing company, they continue to innovate and invest in technologies that benefit both their employees and the environment.
