Roba Metals, based in Genk, is a leading metal company specializing in the supply and processing of aluminum, stainless steel and steel products. One of their core activities is recycling, where they efficiently process production waste and control the entire chain, from procurement and processing to processing and remelting. Sustainability is thus central to their operations. In 2019, for example, they have installed 1,520 solar panels on their roof, generating an annual CO₂ reduction of 104 tons. In addition, Roba is investing in innovative materials with a low CO₂ footprint, such as Outokumpu's Circle Green® stainless steel, which reduces CO₂ emissions by 93% compared to the global industry average.

Through these initiatives, Roba Metals demonstrates their commitment to environmentally friendly practices and providing sustainable metal solutions. The installation of Lightcatchers on the roofs of the expansions was an extension of these environmental efforts.
